Abstract: The   main   research that   followed   is   to   know “Customer satisfaction towards Mahindra BOLA RO SLX”, a new SUV launched by Mahindra.  Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), the market leader in multi-utility vehicles in India. The company started manufacturing commercial vehicles in 1945. M&M is the leader by far in commercial vehicle and the second largest in the passenger vehicle market. The company is the world’s sixth largest medium and heavy commercial vehicle manufacturing.

The survey involved gathering wide information about the company, its   products, customer satisfaction and impact of various competitive firms on the company. From the information collected, various aspects were identified where the company needs to focus more to improve the efficiency of marketing team of Mahindra Automotives.

The research was conducted through collection of primary and secondary data. Secondary data was collected through   visiting various   web sites,   automobile   magazines   and   other   reliable sources.  Primary  data  was   collected  through  a  well-framed  questionnaire,  of  which  later  a detailed analysis was done using various statistical I.T. tools like MS Word and MS Excel.

On  the  basis,  the  secondary  data   analysis  and  the   extensive  analysis  of   the   primary  data, interpretations were drawn for the questions  and conclusion is drawn.  Certain suggestions are also drawn from the analysis to help. Mahindra Automotives to increase its market share in commercial passenger segment and MPVs. Due to the limited resources and time constraints, the study was conducted within the area Gurgaon (NCR) city.

Understanding consumer behavior in the present scenario is extremely important as it is no longer a simple task. Now the consumer is considered to be the King. He is the price-maker and not price-taker. . Earlier, there used to be a few two wheeler manufacturers who held a monopoly. However, this situation has changed with the entry of other competitors, especially after liberalization and globalization. The foreign collaboration saw production going up tremendously due to the availability of many alternative choices, consumer preferences and needs changed. Suddenly, the buyer came into focus. Hence, this study makes an attempt to know the changes in the two wheeler markets and buying motives of two wheeler buyers. The study was conducted by using the survey method.

This research project is completely based on the description of the factors that lead to the customer decision making process. It is basically valued on the various parameters which include personal details of customers, their income –level, satisfaction level. Here the need is to find which factor describes the consumer decision making process most effectively.

  • The study concludes that majority of the customers prefer shopping at big-bazaar, because of product variety, quality, service facility, reasonable prices which make the customers feel more comfortable in visiting the store again & again.

  • Customers feel that Big Bazaar has variety of products available in various departments
  •  Considering the fact that there are a lot middle class families in India, Big bazaar has had a huge impact on the middle class section of India, the prices, quality and sales strategy has helped in getting the middle income groups getting attracted towards Big Bazaar.
  •  Big bazaar has been known for its great sale and great offers& discounts. Big bazaar has had long lines of people waiting to get into the store for the sale. Therefore, the sales that Big Bazaar has had increased in a huge way due to offers & discounts, thus this has been one of the main advantages of Big Bazaar.

Executive Summary: This strategic management project which was undertaken as a part of the PGDBM curriculum was aimed at finding the business opportunity of Beetel Set Top Boxes and comparative analysis between different brands available in the market of Set Top Boxes in free available channels.

The primary objective of the training was to get the feel of the working patterns relevant in the multi national corporations today and to what extent our course curriculum helps us in polishing ourselves in the corporate scenario, besides this I also got an overview of the difference between fast moving consumer goods industry and the soft drink industry in terms of there activities in the market.

The projects I undertook were:

  • To see the overall potential and scope of Set Top Boxes  of  Beetel  in semi rural  market.
  • To find the market competitiveness for STBs.
  • To determine the customer attitude towards STBs.

As an intern I was supposed to meet distributors and shopkeepers of different brands of Set Top Boxes and survey their prior markets in the model market in different cities in order to get the results for the above mentioned objectives.

This research is based on the comparative analysis of Beetel Set Top Boxes with other brands in the market.

I took a Ghaziabad District and Bareilly as a sample. I followed market research procedure to get an idea about the Business Opportunity of DTH in a free to air market. For this I took Bareilly as one sample area and the other as Ghaziabad district which I divided the into a four main cities i.e. Meerut, Hapur, Modinagar, Ghaziabad and other

 On the basis of the conclusions, various recommendations have been given for Beetel. For instance the research could be used by the Assistant Relationship Managers and the Relationship Executives of Bharti Teletech Limited to improve the level of service. It could be also useful to the advisors to give better suggestions to their distributor.

Executive Summary: This strategic management project which was undertaken as a part of the PGDBM curriculum was aimed at finding the business opportunity of Beetel Set Top Boxes and comparative analysis between different brands available in the market of Set Top Boxes in free available channels.

The primary objective of the training was to get the feel of the working patterns relevant in the multi national corporations today and to what extent our course curriculum helps us in polishing ourselves in the corporate scenario, besides this I also got an overview of the difference between fast moving consumer goods industry and the soft drink industry in terms of there activities in the market.

The projects I undertook were:

  • To see the overall potential and scope of Set Top Boxes  of  Beetel  in semi rural  market.
  • To find the market competitiveness for STBs.
  • To determine the customer attitude towards STBs.

As an intern I was supposed to meet distributors and shopkeepers of different brands of Set Top Boxes and survey their prior markets in the model market in different cities in order to get the results for the above mentioned objectives.

This research is based on the comparative analysis of Beetel Set Top Boxes with other brands in the market.

I took a Ghaziabad District and Bareilly as a sample. I followed market research procedure to get an idea about the Business Opportunity of DTH in a free to air market. For this I took Bareilly as one sample area and the other as Ghaziabad district which I divided the into a four main cities i.e. Meerut, Hapur, Modinagar, Ghaziabad and other

 On the basis of the conclusions, various recommendations have been given for Beetel. For instance the research could be used by the Assistant Relationship Managers and the Relationship Executives of Bharti Teletech Limited to improve the level of service. It could be also useful to the advisors to give better suggestions to their distributor.
